The Exhibitors
In order to prepare for the festivities, a list of 277 galleries has been released. These are exhibitors who are invited to participate in the main gallery area of the Miami Beach Convention Center. 迈阿密艺术展还有其他的展览, Spectrum Miami, Red Dot Miami and others that are offshoots of the main fair.
Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami are expected to take up residency in 今年又是玛娜·温伍德, and this typically coincides with a birthday bash for developer and Miami activist, Moishe Mana. There are no changes expected to this yearly soiree.
In the main exhibition hall at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the artists will focus on Latin American and Caribbean diasporic scenes with galleries from Egypt, Iceland, 菲律宾和波兰. A New Director
In other large news for the premiere art week in Miami, Art Basel has tapped a new director with Bridget Finn.
She hails from Detroit, where she is a partner in her gallery ‘Reyes’. Before starting her gallery, Ms Finn led the contemporary art program at Mitchell-Innes & Nash in New York and working with 安东·科恩画廊 in various roles.
Prior to this, she was the director of strategic planning and projects at Independent Curators International, helped to found collaborative curatorial project space called Cleopatra’s in New York and expanded it to Berlin. She is immensely qualified to bring Art Basel to a new era.
